What It Means to Me

“That there are no random acts. That we are all connected. That you can no more separate a life from another than you can separate a breeze from the wind.” This quote has a deep meaning and can relate to many things in people’s lives. Personally, for me this quote means that what you do and what other do effects not only your life, but their life also. So, it means that no matter who you are, you have an impact on someone. It might be a negative or positive way, like you might have changed their life for the better like how my best friends do, or you could have caused pain to someone and that is how you are connected to them. Either way, “That there are no random acts. That we are all connected. That you can no more separate a life from another than you can separate a breeze from the wind,” is true for everyone, everyone is important even if they do not know it.

In my life, a way this quote applies to me is that my friends and family and people I know are all connected to me and me to them. My best friends and I all have effected each other so much and our lives are so connected and we base our choices and things we do off of each other. So it would be hard to separate our lives from each other. Also, people like my teachers have had an effect on my life and will always be connected to me. Like some of my teachers have totally changed how I view things, write things, and just me as a person. While I might not have affected them like they did me, there will always be a connection between our lives. Therefore, the quote “That there are no random acts. That we are all connected. That you can no more separate a life from another than you can separate a breeze from the wind.” Really shows how much people effect and change others, even if it is not intentional.
